THE MAINFORUM WILL ADDRESS CRITICAL TECHNOLOGY CHALLENGES THAT THE GLOBAL AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY WILL FACE BY 2025.

 

The 2nd edition of the MAINFORUM will be held on March 8-11 2016 in the mexican northeastern city of Monterrey.

 

The structure of the program is based on technology frontiers originated as a need to comply with the issued emissions, fuel economy and safety regulations for 2025, plus the emerging topic of cyber security.

The future of lightweight vehicles - What materiales will be used and how will they be manufactured? The evolution of connectivity, communications and autonomy - What will be the capabilities and the challenges/opportunities for suppliers? The future of electric vehicles and alternative scenarios of mixed fleets - What will be the evolution of the future engines and powertrains? The consolidation of Mexico as a hub of auto manufacturing - What role will Mexico take as a source of R&D for the automotive industry?
